Text: Daniel 7:15-28
Dear
Young People,
A
PROPHECY YET UNFULFILLED
It is always exciting to read about how prophecies are fulfilled. The
four prophecies concerning the four kingdoms were accurate and were fulfilled!
The Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman empires have come and gone, as
the Scriptures had prophesied!
However, there is
one prophecy that has not yet been fulfilled. Let us take time to examine
this prophecy.
"The fourth
beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth,
which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
and shall devour the whole earth,
trample it and break it in pieces.
The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise
from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them.
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings."
Daniel 7:23-24
LET US BE CHALLENGED TO STUDY MORE ABOUT PROPHECY
Are you excited about the past? You should be! Knowledge of the past,
of history, gives us deep understanding and insight into life.
Are you concerned
about the present? You should be too! But don't let the concern be just
about personal life matters. Let the concern involve global matters.
Are you not concerned
about the future? You should be! The future is tied in with the past and
the present. Prophecy reveals what the future will be like. Wisdom teaches
us that we must do all we can to understand about the future, so that
we know how to cope lots better.
THE PROPHECY OF ANOTHER POWERFUL KINGDOM
Let us take a closer look at the prophetic word concerning the future
kingdom that will arise.
"And another
shall rise after them.
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings."
Daniel 7:24
There will arise
another powerful kingdom… and his kingdom will be different from the others!
What does that mean? Let us pray for a deep sense of interest and concern
about this prophetic word.
Prayerfully,
Pastor
Charlie
