Text: Daniel 7:15-28

Dear Young People,

THE DESTRUCTION OF THE KINGDOM OF THE ANTICHRIST
The angel of the Lord sent to instruct Daniel concerning the vision he saw taught him an important lesson. He should concentrate on God's Kingdom, than on any of the other kingdoms shown to him.

Let us study the contrast that the angel of the Lord showed to Daniel. The kingdom of the antichrist would be a very temporary kingdom. God would destroy it before too long.

"But the court shall be seated,
and they shall take away his dominion,
to consume and destroy it forever."
Daniel 7:26

THE EVERLASTING KINGDOM OF GOD
The nature and glory of the Kingdom of God was described in full contrast to that of the kingdom of the antichrist.

"Then the kingdom and dominion,
and the greatness of the kingdoms
under the whole heaven,
shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him."
Daniel 7:27

Look at the glorious features highlighted by the angel of the Lord:-

1. All the kingdoms of the world will bow the knee to the Lord.
2. The saints of God would share in the glory of that kingdom.
3. That kingdom would be an everlasting one!

WHO IS GOING TO BE THE KING WHO REIGNS OVER THIS EVERLASTING KINGDOM?
The Book of Revelation identifies for us the Person who will reign over this everlasting kingdom. He is surely none other than Jesus our Saviour and Lord.

"His Name is called The Word of God…
And He has on His robe and on His thigh
A name written:
KING OF KINGS
AND LORD OF LORDS."
Revelation 19:13,16
