Text: Revelation 19:11-21

(I) VISION OF THE ALL-CONQUERING CHRIST

Many wonderful features to be noted:-

1. Sitting on a white horse

No longer sitting on a foal of a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; Luke 19:28-40)

2. Names of Jesus

a) Faithful

b) True

c) A name known only to Himself (Revelation 19:12)

d) The Word of God (Revelation 19:14)

e) King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16)

3. His Person

a) Eyes

Like a flame of fire (Revelation 19:12)

b) Head

Many crowns (Revelation 19:13)

c) Clothing

Robe dipped in blood (Revelation 19:13)

d) Mouth

A sharp sword (Revelation 19:15)

e) Feet

Will tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of God (Revelation 19:15)

(II) THE ARMIES OF SATAN

(Cf. Revelation 17)

1. Kings (Revelation 19:18)

2. Captains/ Mighty Men (Revelation 19:19)

3. The Beast (The Anti-Christ) (Revelation 19:20)

4. The false prophet (Revelation 19:20)

(III) OUTCOME OF THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON

“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army…
And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse…” Revelation 19:19, 21

(IV) THE SENTENCE PASSED AGAINST THE ANTI-CHRIST AND THE FALSE PROPHET

“These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone” Revelation 19:20
