A SERIES OF PETITIONS
1. For Understanding
"Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments"    Psalm 119:73b

2. For Comfort
"Let, I pray, Your merciful kindness be for my comfort.."    Psalm 119:76a

3. For mercy
"Let You tender mercies come to me, that I may live"    Psalm 119:77

4. For justice to be upheld
"Let the proud be ashamed,
for they have treated me wrongfully with falsehood"
    Psalm 119:78a

5. For Ministry purposes ("regard")
"Let those who fear You turn to me,
Those who know Your testimonies"
    Psalm 119:79

6. For the sake of testimony
"Let my heart be blameless regarding Your statutes,
That I may not be ashamed"
    Psalm 119:80

A VIBRANT RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
1. Appreciation of God's hand in life
"Your hands have made me and fashioned me…"    Psalm 119:73


2. Hope in the heart
"Those who fear You will be glad when they see me,
Because I have hoped in Your word"
    Psalm 119:74

3. Understanding of affliction in life
"I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are right,
And that in faithfulness You have afflicted me"
    Psalm 119:75

4. Trust in the way God deals with His servants
"According to Your word to Your servant"    Psalm 119:76

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD'S WORD
1. Desire to learn more
"Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments"    Psalm 119:73

2. Joy in God's word
"Your law is my delight"    Psalm 119:77

3. Meditation on God's word
"I will meditate on Your precepts"    Psalm 119:78

4. Unashamed of having trusted in God's word
"Let my heart be blameless regarding Your statutes,
