Senior Sunday School 2 (SSS2) is intended for young working adults, married couples and older adults. People in these groups will see themselves having multiple responsibilities and challenges in the family and at work. Often, they may go through difficult testings in life. Some of these can come in the form of tough work demands, difficult family situations and children with special needs. They would need a dynamic and strong daily Christian faith and walk with God.

SSS2 meets every Sunday morning from 8.30am-9.30am at the Church Office. We have a short worship session as a Sunday School prior to going to classes where we will study the Bible.

At SSS2, we teach Biblical truths and application of these truths and principles into life’s varied contexts.

“ All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work”
2 Timothy 3:16-17

Students study the Word of God in classes. We have a set curriculum covering specific topics relating to the knowledge of God and aspects of the Christian faith. Students are challenged to ponder and reflect what they have learnt in class. They are further challenged to put them into practice in life. Added to all these is the challenge to commit the Word of God to memory.

Students learn to care, relate and minister to each other’s life needs and pray for one another.

Through the study of the Word of God, we seek to :

  1. Help those who are enquiring about the Christian faith to come to know the Lord Jesus Christ
Instruct new believers in the knowledge of God and to support them in their growth
  2. Build students in the knowledge of God and to kindle in each one a love for God and a “learned inclination” to apply Biblical principles to face life’s challenges victoriously.
  3. Challenge students to experience the presence of God and power in their lives as they develop a disciplined daily walk with God through personal devotions and prayer
  4. Encourage a deeper commitment to serve God
  5. Equip students to be effective witnesses and ambassadors for Christ
